Why we love KAKADU PLUM FOR SKIN
With a lightweight, nourishing feel, it absorbs easily into the skin. It doesn't sit heavily or leave a greasy residue. Helping skin feel soft and conditioned.
What makes Kakadu Plum special
Rich in oleic acid, it absorbs easily while leaving skin feeling soft and comfortable. It also contains linoleic acid, a fatty acid particularly well suited to skin that tends to feel dry or reactive, helping support the skin's natural barrier. Together, these fatty acids help skin feel calm, comfortable, and settled. With continued use, skin can appear smoother and more even-looking.
Where It Comes From
Our Kakadu Plum Oil is sourced from the Bard people in Lombadina, in the Kimberley region of Western Australia. The fruit is wild harvested on Country.
The seeds we use are upcycled from the powder milling process: after the fruit flesh is used for other purposes, the seeds, which would otherwise be discarded, are cold-pressed into the oil we use in our balm. This means more of the plant is used thoughtfully, and nothing goes to waste.
Through a careful cold-pressing process, the seeds are transformed into a gentle, lightweight oil chosen for its compatibility with sensitive and reactive skin. It is a considered approach that honours the plant, respects its origins, and reflects how we want to source everything we make.
