How Radiance Tallow came to be
Hi, I'm Emma.
I grew up watching my mum turn every bottle around before she'd buy it. She had ulcerative colitis, so she was careful about everything that went in or on our bodies. That stuck with me.
I've had sensitive, reactive skin for as long as I can remember. For years it meant a bathroom full of half-empty bottles, things I'd tried, hoped for, and given up on.
The hardest part wasn't just how my skin looked. It was the feeling that nothing was ever going to work for me.
Then I tried tallow. I wasn't expecting much. But a few weeks in, someone complimented my skin. That had never happened to me before. It sounds small, but if you've spent years feeling unsure about your skin, you'll understand why it wasn't small at all.
What I also noticed was that most tallow products had fragrance or essential oils, and with skin like mine, that wasn't going to work long term. I also wanted to know where ingredients actually came from, not just what they were. That took us to regenerative farms in New South Wales and small growers in Japan.
That's how Radiance Tallow came to be. Simple, natural skincare for skin that reacts to almost everything.
